And if you walk along the board walk you will notice also that where all the buildings/people are, the beaches are closed and where there are no buildings or people, the beaches are open, with life guards!!! <GO FIGURE> "The Best Defense is a Good Crowd of Friends"
  EPA estimates that Americans make a total of 910 million trips to coastal areas each year, spending about $44 billion.  ( Not here in the Rockaway's)

When the Parks Department/Sanitation etc, cut back services in our community, why don't we look to cut back their pay and man power?  Think about it. They cut back on doing things for the community then they SIT BACK!!!   "Webmaster"

Beach 6th' street public circle closed to all. A few complaints over to Mayors office got them moved but not removed' so we keep pictures up here till they get REMOVED~!~

Empty beaches because person holding keys to Public Parking lot for these beaches never opens it!!! If you clean this beach on 32nd, Street the representatives here in Rockaway or someone from parks department will let you have the beach!!! Why not? The guy on 9th' street got that deal with beach and a big parking lot!!! Here's the parking lot entrance closed. Open now because of complaints' but we keep this picture up!! Here's another shot of public parking lot closed. Now don't forget, a few complaints to Mayors office got it opened but will the parks department keep it clean??? Maybe the guy they gave the keys too??? Well if you do your job and place those garbage cans everywhere then I'm sure the public will use them. Pick them up and empty them on time and don't let them over flow. If you don't pick them up don't go blame THE PUBLIC PIG!!! Nice job, empty closed public lot empty public beach. ...
This red flag can mean many things.  Another nice job' I think he kicks people off of the beaches or something. Empty beaches facing EAST!!! Empty beaches facing WEST!!! No Joke!!! Clean this parking lot' and you can have it. ...;-) Ask our representatives! And Parks.
Beach 9th, fenced off to the public all the way into low tide water. Guy there even claims he owns the jetty and has water rights too. ...;-) Federal Offense' Concrete Cement was poured here to make a ramp??? Permit/Town? Your guess is as good as mine!!! Another view of the Cement Ramp!!! Don't know what this sign reads' public can't get on the beach to read it. ...;-)
 Nice sign to run into on a hot day heading to the beach and looking for parking!!! Here's another!!! Wow' look at all that dry sand after high water mark!!! We have a God Giving right to walk across and ten feet after high tide to lay our blankets. ... Think about it. Yet another sign!!! This public beach block is some times closed to the public with no permits!!!

 
Closed to traffic but cars get towed here for not paying tickets and left etc. ... So he gets his car impounded' just don't use our public beach blocks to do the dirty work' you have many un-used lots here in the Rockaway's' go there. ... PUBLIC TRUST DOCTRINE case if I ever saw one!!! State General will be down soon for a visit!!! All who allowed this fence to be put up blocking beach access will be found out and named in law suite. Same fence along the dock! Another shot at fence!!!

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT
 It has been brought to our attention that incidents occurred this summer in which citizens were challenged or denied access to certain beach areas as they were walking along the waterline.  If this has happened to you please e-mail us, or write us on our FeedBack page. Give as much information as you can regarding the incident: Time, date, and if  possible names of persons challenging your access rights.

If you use our beaches for swimming, fishing, jogging-etc and you vote and would like to join us, please contact us through e-mail with your address and phone numbers so we can get back in touch with you when our officials who do not give a rats ass about our Beach Access Rights start to run for office again!!! ABetterRock
